JOB DESCRIPTION
• Highly dynamic and fluctuating Telecommunications industry
• Within the legal, regulatory, and commercial environment of South Africa
• Fast moving industry
• Context changes in terms of technology advancements
• Operate within the Supply Chain environment within MTN
• Operate within the Telecommunications environment
• Characterized by high levels of operational pressure and deadlines
• Operating within the manufacture’s realms and trade customer environments and external service providers (Collateral/courier etc.)
• MTN environment currently characterized by automation of processes of procedures
RESPONSIBILITIES
Packing:
• Pack stock from designated area and scan the serial numbers.
• Accurately pack the scanned products into a correct carton
• Complete orders and put correct delivery documents in a carton.
• Ensure all completed cartons are handed over to the courier company.
• Escalate any weight differences.
• Monitor the rejection of cartons and escalate.
• Maintain a continuous flow of completed orders to the courier company.
• Prioritise urgent and collection orders.
• Pack orders in accordance with the agreed service level
• Assist and support on daily, weekly, and monthly stock takes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
• Matric
• Certificate / Diploma in supply chain management would be advantageous.
Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an area of specialisation; with experience in working with others • Experience working in a medium organisation
